RECYCLED AGGREGATES DELIVERED IN BULK NEXT DAY.
Recycled aggregates result from the processing of in-organic materials which have previously been used in construction projects. They retain similar technical specifications to the equivalent quarried product but are generally cheaper and have a reduced impact on the environment. The biggest difference is that primary aggregates need to be mined by quarrying land using large machinery and equipment which use up natural resources. Having been sourced from material which would otherwise take up landfill space, recycled aggregates eliminate the mining process and save resources with the cost savings being passed onto consumers. To ensure a regulated production of clean and safe recycled aggregates in the UK, producers follow a Quality Protocol which is produced by the Waste and Resource Action Programme (WRAP). The raw materials used to make the products include concrete, stone, mortar, brick and tarmac.
