Pipe bedding is a granular aggregate used to support pipes evenly along their full length once laid in a trench. The correct bedding material helps prevent movement, protects the pipe structure, and ensures load is distributed consistently after backfilling. Different pipe diameters require different aggregate sizes, typically ranging from 4 – 10 mm up to 10 – 20 mm depending on the installation. Our pipe bedding materials are supplied clean, graded and suitable for drainage and utility works.
